The Women’s Sportbike Rally, an event for celebrating female sportbike riders, announces dates and locations for 2018 events.
Hemet, CA – October 13, 2017. The Women’s Sportbike Rally is entering it’s 13th year of women-focused events in 2018.
The Annual West Rally is scheduled for July 13-15, 2018 and will take place in Camarillo, California at the Hilton Garden Inn.
The East Rally is scheduled for September 7-9, 2018 and will take place in Deals Gap, North Carolina at the Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge.
“We are thrilled to bring the true essence of Southern California to the WEST event by moving rally headquarters to Camarillo, connecting attendees to both coastline and canyons. The EAST event has always been focused on our love of the Great Smoky Mountains and Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge provides the perfect retreat in heart of Appalachia,” said National Director Brittany Morrow.
By offering workshops that cover topics such as track day prep, club level racing, women’s protective apparel, motorcycle maintenance and riding skills, the women who attend the rally will ride away with pertinent knowledge for their lifestyle that can be shared with others.
“Women who ride sportbikes want to know more about the performance-oriented machines they are riding. We give them one-on-one instruction on how to fix and upgrade their bikes, gearing up for protection while riding, and the skills to ride more safely. They also want to meet other women who share the same passions. We aim to provide as many of these resources as possible at both events,” says Joanne Donn, National Marketing Manager.
The theme for next year’s events is CHASE YOUR DREAMS.
“Our events empower and encourage female sportbike riders to chase their dreams whether it’s improving lap times at the local track, racing for glory and riches, or riding sportbikes on the weekends just for fun,” said National Director Brittany Morrow.
In December 2016, Brittany Morrow, founder of RockTheGear.org and multi-curriculum certified safety instructor took over as the Rally’s National Director for both locations.
